I Could Not Ask For More

So CJ came to stay at my dorm with me last night. We had a wonderful time, he met all my new friends, and I think he even liked them! We talked about a lot of stuff and both realized how hard me going to college is going to be. We both love each other, so we know that we can do it, it is just going to take work, and that is work I am definitely willing to do!



Saying goodbye to him today was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, because who knows when I will see him next. But we have the phone and the webcam that we can, and will, put to great use, so I truly am not too concerned about it.

Talking with him, I realized that I really am ready for this whole college things. It is going to be tough and scary, but I can do it, and knowing that he has faith in me makes it all that much easier :)

First Day at UMF

Wow! What an amazing day! My roommate is amazing, we have a kick ass room, what more could you ask for?? Everyone loves our room, we have Christmas lights and all kinds of good stuff!

Tomorrow I have to be up and ready for 6:15am for white water rafting! I hope it will be fun, I have never been, but I am super pumped.

Thank you to all of you who have shown your support, who dealt with my breakdowns, and were there when I cried. You all rock and I am going to miss you so much!

Homebound Tomorrow

After being with CJ in MA for a week, I am heading home tomorrow. I have to work as much as I can this week, hang out with all of my friends, and pack for school. This time next week I will most likely be bawling hysterically because it will be my first night at college! As I have said, I am excited, but I am so scared. I am worried about my family, I am worried about my relationship, I am worried about money, I am worried about a lot of things. I think it is time that I am on my own though. I have grown up young, because I have had to, so this is a chance for me to see if I am really as mature and grown up as I think I am.

I also am excited to head home because since we got stranded here because of CJ's wonderful car...again...I have not been able to go to the balloon festival. I WILL go tomorrow, and nothing is going to stop me!

I am so tired, I want to sleep but, it is CJ's night off, so he is across the room snoring like a truck, so I am going to have to physically pass out to sleep. Oh well, I do love him<3

Ok I Had To Share This

Ok I know I already posted today but I stumbled across this and just had to share it. Piglet or Kitten? This does not look like a kitten to me! This looks like a piglet! A very cute one I might add and may have to someday convince my future husband to get one for me, but kitten? Negative! How cute is this though???

A Very Nice Day

So besides today being SWELTERING, it was a lovely day. CJ and I had a wonderful day at The Loop. We visited Grammy and then took a stroll over to Starbucks, where we enjoyed some nice cold Izzes on such a hot day, along with some fruit and a sweet treat each. Just sitting back, enjoying the sun and cool breeze and watching people walk by was simply wonderful.

We then went back and spoke to Grammy for a bit, and we all went to dinner at Not Your Average Joes, which was scrumptious, it is the first restaurant that I have been to that serves Arnold Palmers, yummmm! I had a grilled cheese, because I am such a little kid when it comes to food, CJ had a white pizza, and Grammy had Caesar Salad. It was very nice to spend the day with Grammy.




Tomorrow CJ and I will be heading home, off to the balloon festival! Thank goodness I have a boyfriend who will actually let me go and go with me this year...It has been a long day, time to kick back, relax, and get to bed soon. Good night!

Congratulations

I found out today that my friend, Tyler, and his girlfriend, Cassie, got engaged last night. I just wanted to say congrats to the two of them. They are both very young, but hey, if it makes them happy, that is awesome. I hope everything works out and I wish them both the best of luck.

Uneventful Day

So today was not too eventful. Just watched TV and had some grilled cheese with CJ. Yesterday his grammie got me a very pretty sweater, and tonight she brought me a bag full of snacks for when CJ is at work. Yummy clementines, a peach, goldfish, yogurt, and a cereal bar. Yumm I am excited for tonight! I have already managed to eat the peach and the goldfish :) go me!

Even though it was super hot today, it was a very relaxing day in the air conditioned apartment. I managed to watch a bunch of episodes of Degrassi, and even play Sorority Life on Facebook for WAY too long, but hey, gotta be a loser sometimes right?

I think I am going to go watch the Degrassi movie now, AGAIN! Early night for me tonight, I am exhausted!

District 9

So today CJ and I went to see District 9, an insane movie about aliens living in South Africa. It started out really super slow but definitely picked up at the end.

Basically the alien's mother ship came to a stop above this city in South Africa, scientists then decided to break in and see what they would find. They found tons of malnourished aliens, and decided to give them their own district and feed them and make them well. People react badly, yada yada yada, basically the cool parts were when the aliens decided to fight back. Cool weapons and blood, such a CJ movie. But hey, a bag of popcorn, diet coke, and my wonderful boyfriend. It doesn't matter what the movie, we always have a great time :)

12 Days and Counting!!

In 12 days I will be sitting in my dorm at the University of Maine in Farmington. I am TERRIFIED!! But, I have spoken to my roomie, her name is Jenny and I can't wait to meet her! We will be leaving my house at around 7:30 AM Saturday the 29th, with the help of my aunt, my memere, Diane, and CJ. I only have a few things left to get for supplies and such and I will be ready!

I have 3 classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, and I have two classes in Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also have my job that I will start as soon as possible, and so many things to do on campus. I may start cheering again. which would be awesome, and I am sooo pumped! I am rambling now but I tend to do that when I am excited :)
